What I love about radio is that it is the same technology that our grandparents began to explore and apply during WWII. In our world of ever changing electronics, it is comforting to know that the scientific properties of radio waves have not changed. The only difference from the discovery of radio waves until now is the imagination and application. Of course integrated circuits and software applications have made the possibilities endless.

What we do in our industry is no different then what a radio station, television broadcast or radar operator does with their radio signals. We are all concerned with coverage and impedance of the wave propagation. Of course the frequency range and application has a major affect on how we each solve the problem.

Our industry takes allotted FCC radio frequency and couples it with the cellular concept to allow us to communicate on the road or remotely. Our company takes the cellular radio signal further by extending it into impenetrable buildings, rural regions and other areas that lack cellular connectivity.
